Join 91¶¶Òõ in parade honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

The 91¶¶Òõ African American Student Association invites 91¶¶Òõ faculty, staff and students to march in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on Jan. 20 in Tulsa. The procession begins at 11 a.m. at John Hope Franklin and Martin Luther King Jr. intersection, but 91¶¶Òõ participants must be in position by 10 a.m.
Since several streets will be blocked off, 91¶¶Òõ participants may park on the 91¶¶Òõ Metro Campus northeast parking lot across from the Thomas K. McKeon Center for Creativity and ride to the drop off location, which is at the intersection of John Hope Franklin Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Transportation to the drop off location begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 9:45 a.m.

91¶¶Òõ President and CEO Leigh B. Goodson will be inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame's 2026 class. The statewide honor recognizes Goodson’s leadership at 91¶¶Òõ and her broader contributions to higher education, student success, and educational opportunity in Oklahoma.
