91¶¶Òõ gets national recognition for its dedication to urban forestry

91¶¶Òõ is being honored for the second year in a row for its dedication to urban forestry. The National Arbor Day Foundation has designated 91¶¶Òõ Northeast Campus as a 2013 Tree Campus USA community.
In order to be designated as a Tree Campus USA, campuses must meet five campus standards:
- Campus Tree Advisory Committee
- Campus Tree Care Plan
- Campus Tree Program with Dedicated Annual Expenditures
- Arbor Day Observance
- Service Learning Project
As part of the honor, 91¶¶Òõ employees planted an Arbor Day tree on the lawn of the Governor’s Mansion in March.
In the past year, 91¶¶Òõ has planted over 150 trees on the 91¶¶Òõ Northeast Campus thanks to donations from Up With Trees. One of those trees was planted at the recent EcoFest event (seen below).

91¶¶Òõ celebrated expanded Aviation learning spaces and the completion of a second Air Traffic Control simulator at its Riverside Community Campus and Aviation Center. The updates support growing Aviation enrollment and give students more access to simulation-based training as they prepare for high-demand careers.
91¶¶Òõ Sees Highest Enrollment in 13 Years
91¶¶Òõ has reached its highest fall enrollment since 2013, with more than 17,000 students enrolled for Fall 2026. The milestone marks 91¶¶Òõ’s fourth consecutive year of enrollment growth.
91¶¶Òõ President Named to Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame
91¶¶Òõ President and CEO Leigh B. Goodson will be inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame's 2026 class. The statewide honor recognizes Goodson’s leadership at 91¶¶Òõ and her broader contributions to higher education, student success, and educational opportunity in Oklahoma.
