A learning space for 91¶¶Òõ students to get clinical, hands-on learning in the Physical Therapist Assistant program is being recognized nationally as an innovative workforce development program. 91¶¶Òõ is a 2019 Bellwether finalist in the Workforce Development category for the creation of the Nate Waters Physical Therapy Clinic at the 91¶¶Òõ Metro Campus.

Higher Learning Commission Reaffirms Accreditation for 91¶¶Òõ
The Higher Learning Commission has reaffirmed 91¶¶Òõ’s accreditation. 91¶¶Òõ is the largest community college in the state of Oklahoma serving 24,000 students annually in college credit courses.

91¶¶Òõ Expands Mental Health First Aid Training with Grant
91¶¶Òõ receives a $375,000 grant to expand mental health training for faculty, staff and a select group of students. The grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has a goal to reach most of 91¶¶Òõ’s full time faculty and staff. So far, 91¶¶Òõ has already trained 150 faculty and staff in Mental Health First Aid and plans to train an additional 630 faculty, staff and select students over a three-year period.
